June 2014 - mission trip to Baja and Ensenada, Mexico to teach First Aid/CPR and Snakebite First Aid to missionaries Brian & Erin Clemmer, their summer interns, missionary Mindy Hocking (Oasis Boys Home), and local pastors.
2001-2004 - Missions of Hope missions to Mexico took place from 2001-2004. The mission location was in the El Florido area outside Tijuana, Mexico, and supported the Mexico Caravan Ministries, a ministry sponsored by the Baptist General Conference. This ministry accepts mission teams from Christian churches of various denominations, and teaches them about missions and utilizes them in their ministry to build houses for the very poor.
The first Mission of Hope began in 2001, about one year before the trip would actually take place in April 2002. The first year was a "training" mission for church elders to learn the process and meet the staff at Mexico Caravan Ministries in preparation for sending a full team of adults and youth the next year. . July 2004 a team of 1 delivered a truck donated for missions work in Tijuana, Mexico. . April 2004 a team of 23 to build houses for the poor in Tijuana, Mexico. . April 2003 a team of 12 to build houses for the poor in Tijuana, Mexico. . April 2002 a team of 4 to build houses for the poor in Tijuana, Mexico.
